You can receive up to $5,000 for your tuition, depending on how long your program lasts. If you are in a 1-year program, you get $2,000 in Year 1. For a 2-year program, you get $3,000 ($2,000 in Year 1 and $1,000 in Year 2). For a 3-year program, you get $4,000 ($2,000 in Year 1 and $1,000 in Years 2 and 3). For a 4-year program, you get $5,000 ($2,000 in Year 1 and $1,000 in Years 2, 3, and 4). This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are an international student starting your first program at Centennial College. No specific application deadline is posted publicly — before you start your application, check Centennial College's program page or call their office to confirm when applications open and close for the September 2026 and January 2027 intakes. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Centennial College how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask Centennial College during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Centennial College whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
You must be an international student beginning your studies in September 2026 or January 2027. This is for first-time students only; you are not eligible if you are starting a second program at Centennial College. You cannot apply if you have already received an Entrance, Loyalty, or Mobility scholarship, as you can only hold one type of scholarship. You are not eligible if you are a new ELL (English Language Learning — a program to help you learn English before your main degree) student; you must be starting your main academic program. You are not eligible if you are exempt from international tuition fees, such as if you are a protected person or are a dependent of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Finally, you are not eligible if you deferred your start and have $2,000 or more in your account but have not yet applied for a Study Permit.
