About this award

You can receive $5,000. There are five annual CIBC Racial Equity Bursaries at $5,000 each. As a bursary, this money is yours to keep — there is nothing to repay. This is for you if you are a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) student who needs financial support to continue your studies. You must apply by November 9, 2026. When you apply, ask OCAD University how and when you'll hear back — whether it is by email, the portal, or phone. OCAD University says its bursaries are given out based on financial need and the number of students who apply. Ask OCAD University's financial aid office how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Who qualifies
