Fraser W. Lockwood Memorial Scholarship
About this award
Get at least $2,500 a year for 3 years if you are a Calgary high school graduate entering your first year of full-time undergraduate studies — apply by May 30, 2026.
You can receive one award valued at $2,500 minimum. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a community-minded student with roots in the Filipino community who needs financial help to afford university. You must apply by May 30, 2026. When you apply, ask Calgary Foundation how and when you will hear back — whether it is by email, phone, or through their portal. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Calgary Foundation how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. The money is applied directly to your tuition. Confirm with Calgary Foundation if there are any other specific payment steps you need to take. To keep this award, you must maintain enrollment in a full-time course load (as defined by the institution). It is renewable for three consecutive years of study.
