About this award

You can receive one award valued at a $2,500 minimum. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. If you maintain a full-time course load (as defined by the institution), the award is renewable for three consecutive years of study. This is for you if you are a community-minded student from Calgary who has a strong connection to the Filipino community. The May 30, 2026 deadline has passed and this round is closed. Who qualifies

You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. You must be entering your first year of full-time undergraduate studies at a Canadian post-secondary institution immediately following your graduation from Grade 12. You must have attended either a Public (Calgary Board of Education — the city's main public school system) or Separate (Calgary Catholic School District — the city's Catholic school system) school in Calgary. You also need to demonstrate financial need and show that you have contributed to your community by volunteering through church, community organizations, athletics, and cultural or political activities. Preference will be given to students whose families have a connection to the Filipino community.
