What you will need

• ✓ Proof of residency in Alberta or British Columbia
• ✓ Proof of enrollment in a full-time undergraduate degree or diploma program at an Alberta or BC institution
• ✓ Confirmation of a major in Theatre, Theatre Arts, Drama, Film, Radio, Television, Animation, or Script Writing
• ✓ A video (3 minutes or less) demonstrating your passion for your field and explaining how this financial support will help you pursue your dreams

About this award

You can win one of two awards valued at $1,000 each. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a young performer pursuing a passion for the performing arts and want to follow in the footsteps of creators who give back to others. Applications closed on June 30, 2026. Who qualifies

Additionally, you must be enrolled in a major for Theatre, Theatre Arts, Drama, Film, Radio, Television, Animation, or Script Writing.
