About this award

You get $1,000. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a Graphic Design student who has shown strong leadership and a great work ethic in your studies. You must apply by November 1, 2026. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Holland College lists this award's criteria on its official page (see Who qualifies). Ask Holland College how winners are picked among the students who meet them and how many usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Ask Holland College during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Holland College whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.

Who qualifies

You must be enrolled in your second year of study in the Graphic Design program. You also need to demonstrate achievement in your program, leadership skills, and a strong work ethic.

This is what the award's official page said when we last checked. Rules change, so confirm on the award's official page before you apply.
