About this award
Get at least $3,500 for your tuition if you are a second-year or senior law student in AB, SK, or BC who is active in sports, arts, or social justice — apply by June 1, 2026.
You can receive one or more awards valued at a minimum of $3,500. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a law student who balances your studies with a passion for competitive sports, music, fine arts, or fighting for social justice issues. You must apply by June 1, 2026. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Calgary Foundation how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. The money is applied directly to tuition. Confirm with Calgary Foundation if the funds go to your school account or if you need to provide an invoice first.
