About this award

As a bursary, this money is yours to keep and you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are an Indigenous student pursuing a career in business, finance, human resources, IT, or communications and can show you have financial need. Deadlines come around three times a year on August 1, November 1 and February 1, so aim for whichever one is next. Who qualifies

You must be an Indigenous student attending a post-secondary institution across Canada, such as a College, University, Technical College, or Apprenticeship Program. You must be enrolled in one of these specific programs: Finance, Business & Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology (IT), or Marketing & Communication. While anyone meeting these criteria can apply, first preference goes to those living or studying in the Mississauga First Nation or the Greater Toronto Area. Second preference is for those in Ontario, and third preference is for those elsewhere in Canada. Demonstrated financial need is the main factor for selection, though your academic performance and community involvement also help.
