About this award

This scholarship covers your international tuition fees, incidental fees, and University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP — the mandatory health coverage for international students) fees. This funding lasts for four consecutive years or until you complete your degree, whichever comes first. As a scholarship, this money is yours to keep and does not have to be paid back. This is for you if you are an outstanding international student with strong academic merit who is applying for admission to the Faculty of Arts & Science. There is no separate application: incoming students are considered automatically once they apply through OUAC (the Ontario Universities' Application Centre) and are admitted to the Faculty of Arts & Science. Winners are outstanding international students chosen on academic merit; financial need may also be considered. The number of awards isn't published. Ask University of Toronto (Faculty of Arts & Science) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition.
