Nipissing University
$800 for fourth-year Honours Sociology students at Nipissing University who are Ontario residents.
Published by G Paul · last checked October 23, 2026
You get $800. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a senior sociology student who needs extra financial support to finish your degree. You must apply by November 1, 2026. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Ask Nipissing University how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Ask Nipissing University during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Nipissing University whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
To qualify, you must be a fourth year student enrolled in the Honours Sociology program at Nipissing University. You must also demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP (the Ontario Student Assistance Program — the provincial office that manages student loans and grants).
