About this award

You can receive a $1,000 bursary for your studies. As a bursary, this money is yours to keep and you do not have to pay it back. Because it is not renewable, you will receive this amount once. This is for you if you are a high school student who needs financial help to start your university journey. You apply through Nipissing's Entrance Award Application, which opens March 1 and is due May 1 (next deadline: May 1, 2027). One application considers you for all of Nipissing's first-year awards. You must have applied to Nipissing and received your 7-digit student number to log in. When you apply, ask Nipissing University how and when you will hear back. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Nipissing University how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Who qualifies

You must be currently attending high school and applying for full-time admission to the first year of an undergraduate degree program at Nipissing University.
