You qualify if you are a person of Indigenous Heritage (First Nation status or non-status, Métis, or Inuit) and are completing any foundational or career program offered by NorQuest College. Because Indspire runs this award, you must also be a Canadian citizen and prove registration: a Status Card, a membership or citizenship card from a First Nation that keeps its own membership list, enrolment in one of the four Inuit land claims, or a card from one of the seven Métis registries Indspire accepts. While demonstrated financial need will be the primary consideration, the college also considers your academic performance and your involvement in or contribution to the community as a whole.
