The Matt Miller Legacy Scholarship for Interior Design Technology

What you will need

• ✓ Completed NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) General Application

About this award

You can receive a $1,000.00 grant. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a student in the Interior Design Technology program who balances your studies with a passion for leadership, community, and the outdoors. The application deadline is February 12, 2027. When you apply, ask NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) how and when you will hear back — whether by email, phone, or the student portal. You are automatically considered for this award based on your completed General Application. Selection is based on excellent academic achievement, but you should ask NAIT how many students typically receive this award so you can judge your odds. Ask NAIT during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with NAIT whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.

• RealismAvoid assuming that high grades alone guarantee the award. Instead, remember that this scholarship also looks for a balance between academics and community involvement.
