About this award
You will receive a $2,000 scholarship. This is a grant, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a high-achieving student currently enrolled in the Interior Design Technology program. You must apply by February 12, 2027. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Selection is based on excellent academic achievement. Ask NAIT how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Ask NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with NAIT whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.

Tips for applying
- SupportAvoid submitting a blank profile. Instead, fill out every optional section of the NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) awards portal to give the committee more context about your goals. Update your profile details before the deadline.
- RealismAvoid assuming an automatic entry guarantees a win. Instead, remember that "excellent academic achievement" is a high bar and competition may be stiff within your specific program. Apply for other general bursaries at the same time to increase your chances.
