About this award

You can receive a $1,500 award. As a scholarship, this money is yours to keep and you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are the first person in your family to attend college or university and have shown perseverance in pursuing your education. You must apply by April 7. Who qualifies

To qualify, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and a resident of the Eastern Townships for at least 3 years. You must be a full-time student currently enrolled in a Cegep (a general and professional college in Quebec) or University. Additionally, you must be the first generation in your family to pursue post-secondary education and demonstrate financial need.
