• ✓ Enrollment in the third year of a Bachelor of Arts degree program with a major in Sociology

About this award

You get $575.00. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a sociology student who needs extra financial help to finish your degree. You must apply by November 1, 2026. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. You are automatically considered for this award based on your completed General Application. Ask Nipissing University how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Ask Nipissing University during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Nipissing University whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.

Who qualifies

To qualify, you must be entering your third year of the Bachelor of Arts degree program with a major in Sociology. You must also demonstrate financial need.

• RealismAvoid assuming this award is guaranteed just because it is automatic. Instead, treat it as a helpful supplement to your other funding. Continue searching for other bursaries to ensure your tuition is fully covered.
