Published by G Paul · last checked October 23, 2026
You can receive a $1,500 scholarship. This is a grant, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a woman pursuing a career in the electrical or related industries and you enjoy taking a leadership role in your community. You must apply by June 11, 2027. When you apply, ask Rexel Canada Electrical (through the Electro-Federation Canada (EFC — the national association representing the electrical distribution industry) scholarship program) how and when you will hear back about your application. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Rexel Canada Electrical (through the Electro-Federation Canada scholarship program) how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask Rexel Canada Electrical (through the Electro-Federation Canada scholarship program) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Rexel Canada Electrical (through the Electro-Federation Canada scholarship program) whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
To qualify, you must be a female undergraduate student currently enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university program at any post-secondary institute in Canada. You must be a citizen of Canada or a legal permanent resident. Your field of study must be an appropriate one, such as Electrical Engineering, an Electrical Apprenticeship, or as an Electrical or Electronic Technologist or Technician, or another discipline related to the electrical industry. You also need to have above-average grades in your current program and be able to show leadership and involvement in your community.
