About this award
You get $500.00. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a dedicated business student who balances high grades with a strong commitment to helping others through volunteering. You must apply by November 1, 2026. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Ask Nipissing University how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Ask Nipissing University during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Nipissing University whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
Who qualifies
You must be a domestic or international student enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA — a four-year undergraduate degree in business) program at Nipissing University. To qualify, you must be in your 2nd or 3rd year of study and have a minimum 80% average. You also need to show significant community involvement through volunteer work.

Tips for applying
- Community InvolvementAvoid just listing the organizations where you volunteered. Instead, describe the specific impact your work had on the community. List the total hours you contributed to each role.
- RealismAvoid assuming the 80% average is the only factor. Because this award also requires significant volunteer work, you should prioritize highlighting your community service alongside your grades.
