As these are scholarships, the money is yours to keep and you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a current undergraduate student at the University of New Brunswick who completed 24 credit hours at UNB last year (May to April), or took part in an official UNB co-op or exchange program that year, and who plans to study full time next year. You must submit your application by April 15. You will hear back via email in mid-August to find out if you were selected. Winners are chosen primarily based on their scholarship GPA (grade point average). However, some awards may also consider your financial need, your extracurricular activities, or the high school you attended. Selection criteria aren't published fully — ask University of New Brunswick how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask University of New Brunswick during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Who qualifies

You are eligible to apply if you meet one of these two sets of criteria: First, you must plan to enroll full time (minimum of 9 credit hours) in each of the fall and winter terms at University of New Brunswick in an undergraduate degree program in the upcoming year, AND you must have completed 24 credit hours at University of New Brunswick in the previous assessment year (May to April). Note that your grades must appear on the University of New Brunswick transcript by May 30, regardless of how the course was delivered. Second, you are eligible if you participated in an official University of New Brunswick co-op (with minimum 12 credit hours) or exchange program in the previous assessment year and you plan to enroll full time in each of the fall and winter terms. If you are beginning a second degree, you are not eligible for this specific fund and must apply for entrance scholarships instead.
