Get $16,000 for high school students from across Canada.

You get $16,000. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a high school student who has balanced strong grades with leadership roles and has taken the initiative to save or find funding for your own schooling. You must apply by March 1. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Selection criteria aren't published — ask University of New Brunswick how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask University of New Brunswick during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with University of New Brunswick whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
You must be a high school student from across Canada. To qualify, you need to show scholastic attainment, leadership, financial need, and that you have taken initiative in funding your own education.
