About this award

You can access more than 200 scholarships totaling nearly one million dollars. These are grants, not loans, so you do not have to pay them back. Funding is available for students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cycles (undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels). This is for you if you are a member of the student community at the UQAM (Université du Québec à Montréal) Faculty of Human Sciences who demonstrates excellence, engagement, or a need for financial support. The Fondation de l'UQAM runs two competitions a year: the fall competition closes October 14, 2026 and the winter competition closes February 25, 2027.
