About this award

You get $350.00. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a dedicated Environmental Geography student at Nipissing University who has maintained a strong academic record in your first year. You must apply by November 1, 2026. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Winners are chosen automatically based on who has the highest average among eligible students. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Nipissing University how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask Nipissing University during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Nipissing University whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.

Who qualifies

You must be a full-time Environmental Geography student entering your second or third year of full-time Environmental Geography studies at Nipissing University. To qualify, you need the highest average among applicants, with a minimum 75% average on five concurrent courses.

• StrategyAvoid treating this as a separate application. Instead, focus on completing the General Application thoroughly, as you are automatically considered for this award based on that submission. Double-check that your program of study is correctly listed as Environmental Geography.
• RealismAvoid assuming this is a guaranteed award. Instead, remember that this goes to the single student with the highest average. Treat this as a potential bonus rather than a primary source of funding.
