About this award

You can receive a bursary valued at up to $750. As a bursary, this money is yours to keep — there is nothing to repay. This is for you if you are a full-time student pursuing a career in the Trades and need financial assistance to complete your studies. If you are starting in the fall, you must apply by October 15. For winter start programs, the deadline is March 15. When you apply, ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how and when you will hear back — whether by email, phone, or the student portal. Selection is based on your financial need and whether you have made satisfactory academic progress. Selection criteria aren't published — ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
