$2,000 for full-time Year 2 engineering and technology students at Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Moose Jaw or Saskatoon campuses.

You can receive a $2,000.00 grant, which is a scholarship that you do not have to pay back. Since only one award is available, it is highly competitive. This is for you if you are a second-year engineering or technology student who balances strong academic results with a demonstrated financial need. You must apply by October 31, 2026. When you apply, ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic how and when you'll hear back — whether it is by email, phone, or through the student portal. Selection is based on a 50% weighting for financial need and a 50% weighting for academic achievement. Selection criteria aren't published beyond these weights — ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Saskatchewan Polytechnic whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
To qualify, you must be enrolled full-time in Year 2, Semester 1 of one of these programs at the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw or Saskatoon campus: Civil Engineering Technologies, Design and Manufacturing Engineering Technologies, Engineering Design and Drafting Technologies, Environmental Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technologies, Power Engineering Technologies, or Mining Engineering Technologies. A preference will be given to students of self-declared Indigenous ancestry, which includes Metis, Status/Treaty Indian, Non-Status Indian, and Inuit.
