BC CPA Education Foundation Scholarships

About this award

You can receive a scholarship or bursary ranging from $500 to $3,000 each. As a scholarship or bursary, this money is yours to keep — there is nothing to repay. This is for you if you are pursuing a career in accounting and are currently taking the required professional training. Applications are accepted twice a year: March 15 to May 15 in the spring, and September 15 to November 15 in the fall. The bursaries are based on financial need and are open to students living in BC. Each bursary on the CPA Education Foundation's list has its own extra rules, so read them before you apply. Ask BCCPA Education Foundation during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Who qualifies

You must be enrolled in CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) Preparatory Courses or the CPA Professional Education Program, live in British Columbia and be in financial need. Preparatory students must have completed at least two CPA Western School of Business courses in the preceding year; Professional Education Program students must have registered for, or completed, Core 1.
