About this award

You can receive a $1,000 award. This is a grant, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a third-year student in the Municipal Engineering Technology program at RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) who is passionate about starting a career in public works. You must apply by the first Friday in November. When you apply, ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how and when you'll hear back — whether by email, portal, or phone. Winners are chosen based on the content of your personal statement and your demonstrated financial need. Selection criteria aren't published in detail — ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
