About this award

You can receive a $2,000 scholarship. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. It is awarded in addition to other Entrance Scholarships you may receive. This is for you if you are a high-achieving student starting your studies in the Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management program. There is no application and no deadline: eligible students entering the program are considered automatically. Carleton does not publish how it ranks eligible students. It will select up to 10 scholars in total, with two students chosen from each of five regions: Atlantic Canada, British Columbia and Northern Canada, Ontario, the Prairies, and Quebec. Ask Carleton University how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow.
