You get $2,000 for this bursary. As a bursary, this money is yours to keep — there is nothing to repay. This is for you if you are a full-time student who wants to experience a different part of Canada while improving your French skills. You must apply by February 28. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Selection criteria aren't published — ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
You must be currently a full-time post-secondary student. You also need to have either permanent resident status or Canadian citizenship. This award is open to you regardless of your current level of French, as courses are adapted for beginner, intermediate, or advanced learners.
