You can receive a $7,500 award. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. You will have $5,000 applied towards the cost of your tuition and fees in your first term of study. To get the remaining balance as a tuition credit in your second term, you must be registered full-time in an eligible program and maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA — the average of all your final grades) of 2.67 during your first term. This is for you if you are a high-achieving international student moving to Canada to begin your undergraduate journey at Langara College. For the Summer 2027 semester, you must submit your application by Monday, November 30, 2026, at 4:00 pm. When you apply, ask Langara College how and when you will hear back — whether it is through email, a student portal, or by phone. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Langara College how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. The money is sent as a tuition credit. This means the funds are applied directly to your school account to cover your fees rather than being sent as cash to your bank. Confirm with Langara College if there are any other specific payment steps you need to take. To keep the full award, you must maintain a CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of 2.67 in your first term and remain registered as a full-time student. If you have questions about maintaining this average, talk to an academic advisor at Langara College.
You qualify if you are newly admitted or conditionally admitted to Langara College as a full fee-paying international student for the specified semester. You must intend to study full-time (which means taking nine or more credits) in a regular undergraduate program or an eligible full-time Continuing Studies program. You need a minimum 80% GPA (Grade Point Average) from your high school or a post-secondary institution. If you are applying based on post-secondary studies, you must have completed a full credential from a college or university outside of Canada. Note that Langara College considers final CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) in bachelor's degrees first; they will only consider a Master's degree if your bachelor's CGPA was below 80%. Finally, you must be from one of these regions: Americas, Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, Middle East, Europe, or CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).
