About this award
You can receive a $2,500.00 grant, which is a bursary that you do not have to pay back. Since this is not a loan, the money is yours to keep. This is for you if you are a tech student at the Regina campus who needs financial support to complete your credentials. You must apply by October 31, 2026. When you apply, ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic how and when you'll hear back — whether it is by email, the portal, or phone. Selection is based on a weighted system: 75% of the decision is based on your financial need and 25% is based on your academic achievement. There is only 1 award available, so it is highly competitive. Ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic how they verify these details and how many students typically apply. Ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Saskatchewan Polytechnic whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
Who qualifies
