About this award

Almost a million dollars in Ivey Scholarships and Awards is available to support your studies. These are scholarships and awards, not loans, so you do not have to pay them back. Some awards are valid for as long as you are registered full-time in the HBA (Honours Business Administration) program. This is for you if you are a high-achieving student with a strong record of leadership in your community and extracurricular activities. For those applying for admission, you will typically hear back shortly after your official HBA Admission Offer package. For HBA year 2 awards, you will be notified by early December. No single deadline is posted publicly for the initial application — you must complete the Financial Aid section of your online Ivey HBA application to be considered. Selection is extremely competitive. Winners are chosen based on overall academic merit, leadership skills, and in some cases, financial need. Ask Western University - Ivey Business School how many students typically receive these awards so you can judge your odds. All awards are applied directly to your tuition account. If you have a credit balance remaining towards the end of your program, Western University - Ivey Business School will issue you a refund cheque to pick up. To keep your award, you must remain registered full-time in the HBA program and continue to comply with the Ivey Code of Conduct. If your award includes a financial need component, you must complete an award renewal application form each year; look for an email from Western University - Ivey Business School over the summer to start the renewal.
