About this award

You can receive a $2,500.00 scholarship. This is a grant, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a female student pursuing a technical diploma in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) field. You must apply by October 31, 2026. When you apply, ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic how and when you will hear back — whether it is by email, phone, or through the student portal. Selection is based on a weighted system: 50% for your academic achievement, 25% for your financial need, and 25% for your personal statement. There is only 1 award available, so it is highly competitive. Ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic how many students typically apply for this single spot so you can judge your odds. Ask Saskatchewan Polytechnic during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with Saskatchewan Polytechnic whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
