About this award

Depending on your program, you can receive $1,000 or $2,000. Version 1 provides $2,000, while Version 2 and Version 3 each provide $1,000. As a grant, this money is yours to keep — there is nothing to repay. This is for you if you are a full-time student at the Saskatoon campus specializing in agricultural or heavy duty equipment technology, especially if you are already employed by Redhead Equipment. There are different deadlines based on the version you apply for. For Version 1, you must apply by October 31, 2026. For Version 2 and Version 3, the deadline is June 15, 2027. You will hear back through the Saskatchewan Polytechnic awards portal. Selection is based on a 50% weighting for financial need and a 50% weighting for academic achievement. There is one award available for each of the three versions. Who qualifies

To qualify, you must be enrolled full-time at the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Saskatoon campus. You must fit one of these three profiles: 1. Enrolled in the Agricultural Equipment Technician Certificate program (eligible for the $2,000 award). 2. Enrolled in the Agricultural Equipment Technician Apprenticeship program at any level (eligible for a $1,000 award). 3. Enrolled in the Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship program at any level (eligible for a $1,000 award). For all three versions, a preference will be given to you if you are a Redhead Equipment employee.
