About this award

You can receive a $1,000 award. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. One award is available annually. This is for you if you are a full-time Nursing student at RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) who has pushed through a personal or academic challenge during your studies. You must apply by October 15th. When you apply, ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how and when you'll hear back — whether it is by email, phone, or through the student portal. Selection criteria aren't published — ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
