Sheridan International Entrance Scholarship

What you will need

• ✓ No separate application: accept your offer following the instructions on your Letter of Acceptance (Winter 2027, Spring 2027 or Fall 2027 intake)
• ✓ Pay the required fees in your Fee Estimate by the fee deadline
• ✓ Register and stay enrolled full-time (at least 70% of credits or 66⅔% of courses), paying international fees, past the 10th day of classes
• ✓ For students with disabilities: confirmed status with Sheridan’s Accessible Learning Services by day 10 of the term (then 40% of credits or courses counts as full-time)

About this award

You can receive $2,000 for a 1-year certificate or graduate certificate, $3,000 for a 2-year diploma, graduate certificate or master’s degree, $4,000 for a 3-year advanced diploma or degree, or $5,000 for a 4-year degree. It is paid in two installments during your first year, and your exact amount is confirmed on your Letter of Acceptance. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are an international student starting your journey at Sheridan College and are moving into full-time studies. There is no separate application. You are considered when you accept your offer, following the instructions on your Letter of Acceptance, for the Winter 2027, Spring 2027 or Fall 2027 intake. It goes to students who begin Year 1, Semester 1, of an eligible program, and the amount depends on the standard length of the program remaining from your point of entry. The money is applied to your account balance after the 10th day of classes. To receive and keep it, you must pay the required fees by the deadline on your Fee Estimate, stay enrolled full-time and paying international fees past the 10th day of classes, and not get a refund of the fees for your start term. If these conditions are not met, the scholarship is revoked.

Who qualifies

You must be an international student beginning Year 1, Semester 1, of an eligible full-time program at Sheridan College. Bachelor of Animation (PBAAA), Practical Nursing (PPNSG) and English for Academic Purposes are not eligible. You must be in a program delivered only at Sheridan; students in joint programs offered in partnership with another institution are not eligible. To meet the full-time course load requirement, you must be enrolled in at least 70% of the credits or 66⅔% of the courses required for your program in a given semester. If you have a confirmed disability status with Sheridan’s Accessible Learning Services (the office that coordinates classroom and exam accommodations) by day 10 of each semester, you are considered full-time if you are enrolled in at least 40% of the credits or courses required for your program.
