About this award

You can receive one of three awards valued at a minimum of $1,000. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a second-year student in the Veterinary Technology program at RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) who has a strong academic record and needs financial help. You must apply by September 15. When you apply, ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how and when you will hear back — whether by email, phone, or through the application portal. Selection is based on your high academic standing, and the committee also takes your financial need into consideration. Ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how many students typically apply so you can judge your odds. Ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, while others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you are counting on this for multiple years, confirm with RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) whether it is a one-time award or if you can apply again each year.
