About this award

You can receive a maximum of $3,500 for your first year of study, which is paid out over two sequential semesters. Who qualifies

To qualify, you must be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada. You need a minimum average of 80% on your most recent academic transcript. You must be entering a Yukon University certificate, diploma, or degree program for the first time in the Fall 2026 semester and be registered in full-time studies (which means taking a minimum of 9.0 credits) in the Fall semester. Priority is given based on three tiers: first to graduates of Yukon high schools, second to graduates of Canadian post-secondary institutions, and third to graduates of Canadian high schools outside of the Yukon.
