You can receive a $1,000 scholarship for your studies. There are a total of 12 scholarships available annually, with two awarded in Yellowknife and two in each Housing NWT (the government agency managing territorial housing) district. This is for you if you are a resident of the Northwest Territories who is passionate about finding positive solutions to housing issues and is pursuing a field of study related to housing. You must apply by May 31, 2026. When you apply, ask the Yellowknife Community Foundation (the local organization that partners with the government to manage these awards) how and when you will be notified of the results. To qualify for the Alfred Moses Memorial Scholarship, you must have completed high school but not yet begun your post-secondary education. To qualify for the Tom Williams Memorial Scholarship, you must have already begun a post-secondary program.
