About this award

You can receive a $1,000 scholarship for your studies. There are a total of 12 scholarships available annually, with two awarded in Yellowknife and two in each Housing NWT (the government agency managing territorial housing) district. As a scholarship, this money is yours to keep and you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a resident of the Northwest Territories who is passionate about finding positive solutions to housing issues and is pursuing a field of study related to housing. You must apply by May 31, 2026.
