About this award
You get $2,500.00. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a leader who knows how to build partnerships and influence others for the greater good. You must submit your materials by February 12, 2027. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. NAIT's official page says how this award is decided (see Who qualifies). Ask NAIT how many students usually qualify, so you can judge your odds. Ask NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with NAIT whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.

Tips for applying
- LeadershipAvoid just listing titles you have held. Instead, describe a specific time you influenced others to achieve a goal for the greater good. Give a concrete example of a partnership you helped build.
- StrategyAvoid leaving your profile incomplete. Since you are automatically considered based on your General Application, spend extra time detailing your leadership experience in that form.
- RealismAvoid assuming the General Application is enough. Instead, double-check that your portal profile is fully updated before the February 12, 2027 deadline to ensure you are seen by the committee.
