About this award

You can receive a $2,500.00 bursary. As a bursary, this money is yours to keep — there is nothing to repay. This is for you if you are currently enrolled in the Millwork and Carpentry or the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration (HVACR — systems that control indoor temperature and air quality) Technician program and need financial support. You must apply by February 12, 2027. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. Selection criteria aren't published — ask NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
