About this award

You can receive $2,000. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are an Indigenous student pursuing a career in engineering or construction. You must apply by the first Friday in November. When you apply, ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how and when you will hear back — whether by email, phone, or through the application portal. Selection is based on your academic achievement. Since the number of winners isn't listed, ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you are counting on this for multiple years, confirm with RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) whether it is a one-time award or renewable and what you need to maintain.

Who qualifies

You must be an Indigenous student enrolled in your second, third, or final year of one of these programs: Construction Management, Architectural/Engineering Technology, or Structural Engineering Technology.
