About this award

You can receive a $2,500.00 bursary. As a bursary, this money is yours to keep — there is nothing to repay. This is for you if you are starting your career in the skilled trades and need financial support to get your training started. You must apply by June 7, 2027. When you apply, ask NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) how and when you'll hear back — whether it is by email, phone, or through the portal. NAIT's official page says how this award is decided (see Who qualifies). Ask NAIT how many students usually qualify, so you can judge your odds.
