About this award

You get $1,000 from this scholarship. As a scholarship, this money is yours to keep and you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are an apprentice focusing on mastering the technical skills of autobody repair. You must apply by June 7, 2027. When you apply, ask NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) how and when you'll hear back—whether it is by email, the portal, or phone. Winners are chosen based on who earns the highest total shop mark in the third period of the program. One award will be available for each intake. Selection criteria aren't published beyond the shop mark—ask NAIT how many people typically apply for each intake so you can judge your odds. Ask NAIT during your application how the money will reach you—some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Who qualifies

You must be enrolled in the Auto Body Technician apprenticeship program. To be considered, you must submit an application and you will only be considered during the period you were enrolled as a student. The award goes to the student with the highest total shop mark in the third period of the program.
