You can receive a minimum of $2,000 to help with your school-related expenses. This is a bursary, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. The money is sent to you in three separate payments: a minimum of $1,000 at the start of your program, $500 after your first term, and $500 once you successfully complete your second term. This is for you if you are an Indigenous student enrolled in one of the Pathway to Business, Creative Arts, or Digital Technology programs at RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic). You must apply by October 15th. When you apply, ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how and when you will hear back — whether it is by email, phone, or through the application portal. Selection criteria aren't published — ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic) whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
You must be an Indigenous student enrolled in the Pathway to Business, Creative Arts, or Digital Technology programs at RRC Polytech (Red River College Polytechnic). This award is available to all students enrolled in these specific programs.
