You get $2,500.00. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a second-year student in the Industrial Heavy Equipment Technology program who has maintained a high academic standard. The application deadline is February 12, 2027. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. You are automatically considered for this award based on your completed General Application. Ask NAIT how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Ask NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with NAIT whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
You must be a second-year student enrolled in the Industrial Heavy Equipment Technology program. This award is granted based on your showing excellent academic achievement in the second year of the program.
