About this award

You will receive a minimum of $5,000. As a scholarship, this money is yours to keep and you do not have to pay it back. This award is for you if you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident entering a full-time undergraduate Political Science or Public Administration program in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa for the first time, with an admission average of at least 92%. You must apply by March 31, 2027, through uOttawa's Online Scholarships and Bursaries system in the uoZone portal. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — whether it is by email, a portal, or phone. Up to five scholarships go each year to the best eligible students. You need to show leadership qualities and commitment to academic and extracurricular activities. Ask University of Ottawa during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. It is not renewable — it is paid once.
