NAIT Alumni Scholarship Fund II

What you will need

About this award

You can receive a $2,000.00 award. As a scholarship, this money is yours to keep — there is nothing to repay. This is for you if you are a former graduate of NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) returning for more study, or if you are the child of a graduate attending the school. You must apply by February 12, 2027. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. NAIT's official page says how this award is decided (see Who qualifies). Ask NAIT how many students usually qualify, so you can judge your odds. Ask NAIT during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with NAIT whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.

Who qualifies

You must be a returning NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) alumnus or the child of a NAIT alumnus attending a certificate, diploma, degree, or apprenticeship program. Academic achievement is required based on your program type: if you are in a one year or two year program, you apply after completion of the first semester; if you are in a two year program, you apply after completion of the first year; and if you are in an apprenticeship training program, you apply prior to completion of the final year. If you are currently in NAIT upgrading, you are only eligible after you are enrolled in a NAIT certificate or diploma program.
