Depending on the award you win, you could receive up to $10,000 for your first year, or up to $40,000 total over several years. The Jon and Nancy Love Entrance Award covers up to 90% of your tuition and is renewable for up to three years. The Renewable Undergraduate Entrance Awards offer up to $10,000 a year and can be renewed for up to three more years (up to $40,000 in total), while the non-renewable entrance awards and scholarships provide a one-time payment of up to $10,000. As these are scholarships, they are grants, not loans, so you do not have to pay them back. This is for you if you are a high-achieving student from Ontario who is starting your first year in a business, accounting, or management program at the Ted Rogers School of Management; most of these awards also ask you to show financial need. For every award except the Yardi Scholarship, you must be a domestic student residing in Ontario. You must be entering post-secondary studies for the first time with no time gaps in your study. To qualify for the various awards, you must be an incoming full-time undergraduate student commencing your first year at Ted Rogers School of Management. For the Renewable Undergraduate Entrance Awards, Undergraduate Entrance Awards and Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships, you must be entering one of these programs: Business Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Information Technology Management, Retail Management, or the School of Accounting and Finance. For most of these awards, you need a minimum 85% final average based on your best six Grade 12 U (University level) or M (Mixed level) courses. For the Jon and Nancy Love Entrance Award, preference is given to applicants from Pathways to Education. The Yardi Scholarship (two awards of $10,000 a year, renewable) is open to domestic and international students entering Business Management or Business Technology Management who are the first in their family to attend a college, university or apprenticeship program and who show financial need.
