About this award

You get $1,000. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are an Indigenous student graduating from Model School or UWinnipeg Collegiate and moving into university studies. You must apply by March 1, 2027. When you apply, ask how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. You will be automatically considered based on your completed General Application. Ask University of Winnipeg how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Who qualifies
