Published by G Paul · last checked October 23, 2026
You can receive $5,858, which is designed to cover the costs of tuition for up to 30 credit hours. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a graduate of a Manitoba high school who has demonstrated financial need. You must apply by March 1, 2027. When you apply, ask University of Winnipeg how and when you'll hear back — whether it is by email, a portal, or phone. You will be automatically considered for this award based on your completed General Application. Ask University of Winnipeg how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Ask University of Winnipeg during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. To keep this scholarship for one additional year, you must enrol in a minimum of 18 credit hours and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA — a number that represents your average grade across all courses) of 3.55.
