What you will need

• ✓ Completed General Application via the University of Winnipeg awards portal

About this award

You get $449.00. This is a prize, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a biology student who has excelled in your thesis work. The application deadline is February 1, 2027. When you apply, ask University of Winnipeg how and when you'll hear back — email, portal, or phone. You are automatically considered for this prize based on your completed General Application. Ask University of Winnipeg how many students usually apply, so you can judge your odds. Ask University of Winnipeg during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow. Renewal conditions aren't listed — if you're counting on this for multiple years, confirm with University of Winnipeg whether it's one-time or renewable and what you need to maintain.
